Prepare the soil: Fill a seed tray with good quality, well-draining seed-starting mix. Lightly moisten the soil
Plant the seeds: Sow the lemongrass seeds on top of the soil and cover the seeds very lightly with soil. Mist the lemon grass seeds with water.
Cover the seeds:Cover the seed tray with a clear plastic dome or plastic wrap to create a mini greenhouse that will help to maintain moisture levels and warmth.
Provide the right conditions: Lemongrass seeds need warmth and humidity to germinate. Keep the seed tray in a warm, bright spot. Ideally, the temperature should be between 70-80°F (21-27°C).
Water carefully: Water the soil carefully, keeping it moist but not too wet. Avoid over watering as this can cause the seeds to rot.
Wait patiently: Lemongrass seeds can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to germinate. Be patient and keep the soil moist and warm.
Matures: About 100 days as a 24-48" tall grassy mound.Ready for use in 90-100 days.
